Black Panther has reached an impressive milestone, earning more than $1 billion at the worldwide box office in less than a month in theaters.

This makes Black Panther the fourth Marvel Studios feature to reach such an outstanding goal, after The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3, and Captain America: Civil War. Outside of the Marvel Studios world, this box office landmark has been achieved by 32 films and 15 Disney films.

The film grossed $521 million domestically and is expected to cross $500 million this weekend internationally.

With the film being such a huge success, rumors of a possible sequel are already are already circulating. EW spoke with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige who said that while he has “nothing specific to reveal,” he can say that “we absolutely will do that.”

“One of the favorite pastimes at Marvel Studios is sitting around on a Part One and talking and dreaming about what we would do in a Part Two,” he continued. “There have been plenty of those conversations as we were putting together the first Black Panther. We have ideas and a pretty solid direction on where we want to head with the second one.”

Black Panther, a true cultural phenomenon, is expected to surpass The Dark Knight ($535 million) as the second highest-grossing superhero film of all time in the US by the end of the weekend.
